Shieldon was expected to make a strong comeback due to its immense defenses, but modern wild Pokémon have more elaborate tactics. Shieldon still don’t fear predators, but competition with other herbivorous Pokémon keeps it rare.

Bastiodon are used to protect archaeological digs from thieves. While the dig is unattended, they release Bastiodon walls around the site. Unless thieves have Flying-Types, the chances of getting in are slim.
